Hawaii Chapter
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter’s mission is "to provide well-rounded ongoing education and training for personal and professional growth in the business environment through leadership, knowledge, teamwork, and respect. The focus is on instilling confidence for development of the total person coupled with ethical values and a sharing of one’s talents through various community service endeavors," and
WHEREAS The City of Lakes Chapter's mission is "to be on the leading edge of advanced technology for the changing office environment; to provide programs for professional growth, leadership development, continuing education, and certification,” and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter was chartered in July 1956, and
WHEREAS The City of Lakes Chapter was chartered as the Gopher Chapter in September 1942, and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter members have networked at the IAAP International Convention and Educational Forum since July 1996, and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter and the City of Lakes Chapter have a desire to further their appreciation of each other's cultures and chapters, and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter members wish to further their individual networking relationships, and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter have been informal "Sister Chapters" since September 2002, and
WHEREAS The Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter desire to formalize their "Sister Chapter" relationship, now therefore be it
RESOLVED That the Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter members shall meet annually at the IAAP International Convention and Educational Forum, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED That the Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter shall exchange monthly chapter newsletters, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED That the Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter shall facilitate occasional cultural exchanges, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED That the Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter shall establish and encourage inter-member interactions such as pen pal or e-pal relationships, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED That upon formal execution of this Resolution by the Presidents of the Hawaii Chapter and City of Lakes Chapter, each chapter shall be recognized and known as the "Sister Chapter" of the other, and further, members of each chapter shall share in all rights and privileges as appropriately determined by each chapter's Board of Directors.
