Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meet at Perkins on 394 and Louisiana Avenue in St. Louis Park. Meetings are held at 5:45 p.m., on Thursday prior to Chapter Meetings with special meetings scheduled as needed. The May meeting of the Board of Directors is a joint meeting of the 2011-12 board and the 2012-13 board. This is a special meeting and all members are welcome to attend the meeting. If you'd like more information, please contact Mary Fischer for more information.
Chapter
The City of Lakes Chapter takes great pride in the well thought-out, educational programs offered each and every month. Our focus this year is on education. Every meeting will add to your current knowledge and will also add networking and socializing to our meetings. Back by popular demand, hallway networking will be available before every meeting this year. Added to that, many meetings will retire to our "unofficial meeting room" (a.k.a. The Dover Restaurant) attached to our regular meeting room by a hallway. There we will meet to just enjoy each other's company, talk about the meeting that just ended, talk about an upcoming meeting, or just mull over things going on in our lives.
Our Chapter meets the first Thursday of every month from September through June at The Doubletree Park Place Hotel, located at 1500 Park Place Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN 55416. Our standard agenda keeps meetings to a manageable amount of time:
- 5:30-6:00 p.m. Social/check-in
- 6:00 p.m. Dinner
- 6:30 p.m. Educational Program
- 7:30 p.m. Chapter Business Meeting
- 8:30 p.m. Adjournment (usually earlier)
Our new speakers' list and topics will be available soon, but be assured as a Chapter of Excellence, most of our programs qualify for continuing education credits.
